Guide to Giving
Like most independent schools, Woodland depends on the generosity of current families, grandparents, alumni, employees, and corporate matching to balance our operating budget and fund key initiatives. Together, contributions of all sizes support academic excellence today and sustain the long-term financial health of the school.

GALA AND AUCTION
May 3, 2025
In Spring, the Gala & Auction brings our community together to celebrate and to raise funds for key initiatives that go beyond what the Annual Fund makes possible. Each year, school leadership and the Board of Trustees identify the specific priority that Gala & Auction proceeds will support.
QUESTIONS ABOUT GIVING
Questions about giving at Woodland? Please contact Erin Stevenson, Director of Development and Alumni Relations, estevenson@woodland-school.org or 650.285.5226.
You can make your tax-deductible gift by check, credit card, wire or ACH transfer, stock or securities. If you’re eligible for corporate matching, the impact of your gift can be doubled or even tripled when you can give through your employer website or directly to Woodland and submit documentation as instructed by your company’s match program. Each year, Woodland receives nearly $150,000 through corporate matching programs.
Corporate matching funds play a vital role in achieving our fundraising goals. All families are encouraged to contact their employers to inquire about matching programs.
