Philosophy of Stewardship

At Woodland School, we expect our graduates to make their school, and eventually the world, a better place.

Stewardship is an integral part of our mission and vision--it permeates every aspect of our school. Stewardship exists in the classroom, on the playground, in our surroundings and beyond.

Outdoors as an Extension of Learning Experience

Aerial View of Woodland Campus

Woodland School is located on 10.5 acres. Our spacious and bucolic environment gives children room to breathe, space to play, and freedom to explore the environment around them--all beneficial to their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Joyful, Inclusive Community

We are a joyful and inclusive environment where the whole student can grow and thrive. We are known for being "a small school with a big heart," with compassion as a key characteristic.
