Woodland School Summer Adventures

Woodland School will be hosting the following programs on its campus this summer:

Woodland Summer Adventures: Early Childhood & Kinder Camps
5 Weeks: June 25-July 27

Woodland School will be offering camps for incoming Early Childhood Center (ECC) students and incoming Kindergarten students this summer! There will be five weeks of learning, exploring, and creating, beginning June 25th through July 27th, (no camp July 4th). Each camp day will begin at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm. These are full day options offered on a weekly basis. There is no extended care. 

 *EC Camps are only available to EC students (ages 3 & 4) enrolled at Woodland for the 2018-2019 school year.

*The weekly camps for incoming Kindergarten students will incorporate academics, projects, and routines to ensure a smooth transition to Kindergarten in the Fall.

BE SURE TO REGISTER FOR THE GRADE LEVEL YOUR CHILD(REN) WILL ATTEND IN THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR.

Weekly themes are as follows:

ECC: Travel, Science, Nature Adventures & Explorations and Reptiles

Kindergarten: Bugs & Butterflies, Superheroes, Sizzling Summer, and Our Ocean.

Center for Talented Youth (CTY) for Grades 2-6 
3 Weeks: July 2-July 20

CTY is the world leader in gifted education since 1979, Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is a nonprofit dedicated to identifying and developing the talents of academically advanced pre-college students around the world. CTY students comprise the most promising minds of the next generation. There are nearly 150,000 CTY alumni around the world, including the founders of Facebook and Google, Intel Science Talent Search winners, Rhodes Scholars, and MacArthur Fellows. 
 

The program is 3 weeks, starting July 2 and ending July 20, and runs from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.with before and after care. 

Application Process & Availability – Students who are interested in these gifted and talented summer programs must take one of our designated tests to establish eligibility for CTY, for 2nd-6th grade, students must take the SCAT test to establish eligibility for the Young Students Program.
