Annual Tuition: 2024-2025
- Early Childhood (PS-PK): $34,450
- Lower School (K-4): $39,050
- Middle School (5-7): $41,250
- Middle School (8): $44,500 (includes international service trip)
Books, field trips and most school supplies are included in the annual tuition.
Miscellaneous expenses
Woodland School does require a uniform dress code. Uniforms should be purchased online at Land's End prior to the beginning of school and are not included in tuition. Woodland has a gently used Uniform Closet where families choose, trade, and swap uniform pieces as students outgrow them.
Woodland School’s hot lunch program is provided by Choicelunch. Families may order online as needed with small or large portions. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. Hot lunch service is not included in tuition.
Tuition Payment Options
Woodland School has contracted with FACTS Tuition Management to help manage your payment tuition plans and extended care billing. Woodland School has also made arrangements to offer the protection of tuition refund insurance with Dewar Insurance.
Tuition Deposit: Upon your child's acceptance to Woodland School, we require a deposit in the amount of 10% of your child's tuition to reserve their space at Woodland for the upcoming year. Several payments plans are available.
Tuition Assistance
Woodland School's Tuition Assistance program is designed to make a Woodland education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Woodland is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family's level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses and debts.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return to it at any time. At the end of the application, there is a a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Woodland requires you to upload additional tax documentation including 2023 tax returns once they become available.
The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documentation is January 17, 2024.
If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the "Help" button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or (206)-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Once you submit your Clarity Application, your 2022 tax forms will be automatically requested from the IRS. However you will need to manually submit final tax forms for 2023 as these will be unavailable from the IRS.

Can we apply for tuition assistance after we have enrolled?
How much money will I receive and will I receive the same amount every year?
The amount of money you receive depends on your need and the number of other families requesting assistance. If your financial circumstances remain the same, you can generally expect to receive approximately the same size award each year. For example, if you initially received half the total tuition and there is no change in your financial situation, you will most likely receive half of the total tuition again the next year that you apply.
