Woodland’s Admission Tours and Open Houses
Thank you for your interest in Woodland School! We invite you to visit our campus so that you can learn more about our school community. We offer group admission tours on Thursday mornings and two open houses (November and January). Tours are for adults only and we encourage all prospective parents or guardians to attend.
How to register for an Open House or Admission Tour
In order to register for a tour or open house, you must first create an account in Ravenna, our online admission system. More information can be found on our Admission Process page. For additional information or assistance, please contact the Admission office at email@example.com or (650) 854-9065.
What’s the difference between an Admission Tour and an Open House?
Admission tours provide prospective parents and guardians opportunities to visit our campus, observe classes in action, and meet our faculty. Tours begin in our Multi-Use Room (MUR) and are approximately 1.5 hours in length.
The Admission Open House is an event for the whole family! Parents will hear an overview of curriculum, mission and vision, and school culture, followed by a Q&A session with faculty, parents and students. Meanwhile faculty members will engage with students applying to grades K-8 in a group design challenge with other applicants of similar age (our youngest friends will need to stay with parents due to the developmentally appropriateness of the activity).
Once the challenge is complete and parents have finished hearing the many reasons to love Woodland, your students will have an additional challenge - presenting the group's work to you (hint: gummy bears may be involved!)!
